On April, 08 2008, the American Legion Citizenship Award was presented to Christopher Hart, Founder & President of the Nathan Hale Foundation. The Nathan Hake Foundation, Inc. is a non-profit organization founded in 2006. Its main focus is to assist the Troops and their families who face personal, professional and financial hardships. Through the generosity of many, they were able to acquire a 15 passenger van and a wheelchair accessible van which are used to transport veterans to and from the local VA facilities.

​I want to send a huge thank you to EVERY ONE at Post 40 who helped Michelle become the fantastic young lady who is graduating Johnson & Wales University, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing and a Minor in Entertainment Management. Being in the Junior Auxiliary almost ALL of her life, and being an officer most of the time, has helped her attain the goals that she set out to achieve.
